Nicola's Fund named NMi's Charity of the Year
World leading gaming compliance testing and auditing laboratory NMi, based in Bangor, Gwynedd, has announced Nicola's Fund as its Charity of the Year.
Nicola's Fund, a Wrexham-based charity are dedicated to improving the quality of the lives of children with cancer. They support families at difficult times by providing week long holidays to Centre Parcs and Greenacres Holiday Park, Porthmadog.
Nicola's Fund, was selected by employees at NMi's UK Head Office in Parc Menai Bangor as their chosen Charity of the Year for 2017/2018. This announcement comes following nominations and a companywide vote which was held at the beginning of March.
Since being set up in 2005, the charity has helped 560 families and has raised more than £600,000. Debbie and Steve Riley, whose daughter, Nicola, lost her fight against a malignant brain tumour in 2005, and who subsequently founded the charity, commented: "It's really positive that local companies like NMi support local charities so they can feel and see what impact and support they can give, we are very pleased and grateful that NMi have chosen Nicola's Fund as their charity for the coming year".

I'm proud of the people that work here at NMi who have always given generously to many worthwhile causes.
