This was a perfect way to celebrate 10 years of Nicola's Fund. With the Grease theme running throughout the room even with some guests entering into the spirit of the Pink ladies and TBirds! We all had an amazing night, the food was great, atmosphere electric and a good time was had by all.
We have many people to thank for this wonderful evening, Hadlow Edwards Wealth Management Ltd for their sponsorship of this event and continued support of Nicola's Fund. The racecourse and staff for all the help on preparation before, during and after, to the Hammond students who once again put on a great floor show, 2 energetic rock n roll dances and also for their help on the night with the running around! Our silent auction was ran by Givergy this year and for the first time we went digital .......... a new venture for the techno phobes out there but with the help of staff i think it was a great success and some bidding wars ensued.
To Chris and Rita Jonas for very kindly lending us the car for some amazing photos it set the room off beautifully.
Our patron speech was given by Jim Watts who was Nicola's headmaster at Merton House, it was a lovely touching speech at the start of the evening, giving you the feeling of how remembered Nicola is. Our other guest speaker was Anna Culshaw who was one of our first children the charity helped, her speech was amazing recounting the treatment she endured and then all of the fantastic achievments she has made after treatment to date. Thank you Anna for reminding us why we do this and showing us the positives xxx
Our Patrons and trustees of the charity need a special mention for all their continued hard work and effort all year through we appreciate everything you do.
Our final thank you is to our LOYAL supporters of the charity, without you we would never have made it to 10 years!!! Your continued support is without doubt very uplifting and Nicola would be amazed at it all
